Well, looks like iiNet has won their court case, and personally I think Mike's handled himself very well. Gracious in victory he admits that the film industry has a point, but is going the wrong way about trying to rectify the problem.

It's a pitty that so much money has to be wasted because the film industry believes that the rest of the world can't have what American's are allowed to have - online access to TV shows and films.

Guess it was no different with music - these industries seem to take a long time to learn to embrace new technology instead of fighting it.

Hopefully this will open up more avenues to being able to legally purchase and download TV shows and movies in the not to distant future, but then again - maybe the film industry still hasn't learned their lesson.

Time will tell I guess...
