Pretty ordinary if you ask me. There are some not so bright guys out there that like taking guns to school in America, etc. Don't like what sorts of ideas this could put into their head.

What was IW thinking?  Roll Eyes

The game is rated correctly, the game has warnings in place before the section, and IW have done everything they can to alert the player.

No problems here, unfortunately this sort of thing is an integral part of current guerrilla warfare tactics. If they are going for a realistic game, it would be lacking a key element were it missing.

And what if being "rated correctly" means they slap it with a 18+ rating?

Then it gets refused classification and we don't get it. I think IW are trying to push the envelope too far.

As far as I am aware, the game has ALREADY been rated as MA15+, and that classification was granted after the warning was put in place before the sequence begins.

As far as I'm aware... what's the deal... it's a game... we can't help if there's retarded kids who can't tell the difference between real life and a game... You see this shit on the news all the time... get over it...

I agree with Shads and HC, but the problem I see isn't about people like us not being happy, it's with some douchebag american teen playing this, then rampaging through his school. Then video games become the bad guys and we get even tighter restrictions.

Realism in COD. Is that a perk?

It's a singleplayer element that's worth putting out there. COD4 was pretty much an okay game. But it's narrative/plot was well conceived. This element could be just as good within the storyline too. Theirs a good chance they'll do the same character development they used in COD4.

Makes me more interested in the game than stupid prestige packs with nightscopes.
